ABOUT JASMINE

During the midst of college, Jasmine took some semesters off of her premed major to pursue her devotion to the dance music industry. In the summer of 1999, Jasmine was discovered through a series of auditions targeted for the mid-Atlantic region. The auditions were held through multiple media including WXYV 102.7 and WWZZ 104.1. Currently, Jasmine is back in college and hosts the Billboard Hot Dance Countdown along with Gene Huie A.K.A. DJ GKLoop, the resident DJ of the nationally syndicated radio show.

Underage and spellbound with the beats, I found myself sneaking into the DNB clubs (with the help of some wonderful, older companions) in Manchester and staying out 'til the crack of dawn (obviously). My enormous collection of different types of dance music started immediately after my trip to Manchester and still has me yearning for more..."
