Billboard's Hot Dance/Club Play chart, one of the most volatile and exciting charts in Billboard's stable, is now a nationally syndicated radio program, counting down the dance mix hits weekly, in either a two-hour or four-hour format.

Entertainment Management Group Worldwide (EMGW) - a recognized Entertainment marketing and representation organization - is working in conjunction with Billboard as a designated licensee to produce the program, "Billboard's Hot Dance Countdown." The full program will count down the current Top 40 Club Chart Hits in a four-hour format each week. A two-hour version limited to the Top 20 Club Hits will also be available.

Dance Music is at the heart of the lucrative and widely popular club scene. Lending one's ear to the music played in clubs in South Beach, L.A.'s Sunset Blvd and New York City, Billboard's Hot Dance Countdown will appeal directly to an audience that is young, accustomed to discretionary spending and culturally varied.  

The difference between Billboard's Hot Dance Countdown and other more traditional countdown shows is not just in the music; it's in the mix. The program will play fuller versions of the top hits with many playlist cross-over songs. The show is mixed by DJ GK Loop, a Billboard DJ/Panelist, to stimulate a live club experience. Artist interviews, bio information, tour dates, music promotion and ticket giveaways to major industry events such as; The Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, and the Grammy Awards will all be included as the hits vary week to week, but they won't get in the way of the music.

This is not your father's countdown show. This is a dance party on the radio.
